I have watched baseball for 24 years now, and this is the first time I've seen the four-out rule explained. I didn't know it existed. Yahoo sports blog "Big League Stew" explains what happened:

It's The Final Countdown! Do do do dooo....do do do do dooooo...
From Athens, Georgia/Georgia Tech weekend
Personally, I liked it...
Yahoo! posted an article, linked here, about last night's Bachelor finale. Whether staged or not, the show took an unprecedented turn duing the "After The Final Rose" portion. Jason, the single dad bachelor, dumped Melissa, the girl to whom he proposed on the final episode, for Molly, the hotter, less crazy one he almost let get away. Melissa appeared to be pretty angry, expectedly, at Jason while she was sitting in front of him. Later in the limo she said her anger was really a false front. To me, Melissa raised a red flag during the last episode when she said she's "always the dumpee." We figured out why in the confessional.
It was amusing, but a bit disturbing, reading some of the reader comments from the Yahoo! article. These dumb bitches skewered Jason for doing what he thought was best for him, and actually being honest with Melissa before it was too late and he was stuck in a marriage that would go nowhere. Who knows if Jason and Molly will last 6 weeks (we'll find out tonight), but he knew it wouldn't work out with Melissa and he did something about it. More power to him.
It was definitely soap-opera, and maybe even staged. But it was good TV, and these hate-mailing whores should give the guy a break for doing what his heart tells him. They should probably also put down the Krispy Kremes and invest in a quality treadmill.

Jessica Simpson drops in the polls
I know she's not fat, but I'm still over her. She's definitely still in the top 10, but no longer in the top 5. Welcome, Amanda Bynes. Other honorable mentions include Kate Beckinsale and Julianne Hough.
